Recipe: Eating Lime Shrimp Pasta Salad

Are you a First Responder that is trying to eat light? The best diet should include lean cuts of beef, chicken, turkey, fish, and shellfish. What happens when the only fish that is cooked in the kitchen are fish sticks and fried shrimp? Thankfully companies are putting recipes on their websites and packages.

This recipe takes about 5 minutes to prep  and about 20 minutes to cook. The recipe serves 4. 

Ingredients
1 pkg Kroger cooked shrimp thawed
1 lb of spaghetti or angel head pasta
1 Tbsp of olive oil
1 Clove garlic, minced
3 green onions, finely chopped
1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3 tomatoes chopped
salt and fresh ground pepper
4 Tbsp lime juice fresh-squeezed
1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled

Prepare pasta as directed and chill
In a large bowl combine remaining ingredients. Toss with chilled noodles and shrimp
Garnish with lime slices
